New New? pwuahaha just due to the lack of artistry today. ;) Well, it's related to my entire entry anyways so it's not really a fail. :D

NEW #1:

I have a new layout!!! haha as most of you probably noticed it already. I originally created my own on Artisteer but it's too much work so I google-d for free templates and tadah! new layout it is! It's still a bit messed up but I'm lazy to fix everything at this moment. You are possibly wondering about the little kid on the header? I think it's me (lulz) and I refuse to grow up =) Srsly, that animated kid reminded me of who I was back when my mammary glands were still flat as a road, the DORA bangs! Did you girls also had Dora hair back then? Back in the days when our freedom of speech to say NO to our moms even when have those crocodile tears just isn't accepted and working? oh wells to those who missed my previous template here it is.

I've also changed my header from myfingersrtyping to Emmaleigh (yes the monicker that my doll Mara had "baptized" me with) to give name to that kid on the header. =) A kid eh?And I'll contradict that "kidness" in the next few days with my for mature only posts. Oh wells, my blog needed a bad make over anyways so no fuss.

I have new nails!! wootaah!! And I think I'm getting better with my nail art :D Once my stripes are puurrfected I'll move on to new designs.

THE JOYS OF TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPO + MY 1ST GRADE ART

Ok so first things first. Do you guys commute? I do sometimes. I both love and hate taking public transpo.

LOVE - there are just so many random things that's happening when you commute. You see people act or dress in a not normal way according to your standards like this girl who takes the same bus as I do every Sunday. I don't know where she works at or what her job is but munn she does overdress! Everything is just too much! She's like Amy Winehouse, only much worse when it comes to fashion and make up. She puts 10 layers of foundation and blush on, on her face and like 4 layers of falsies and super super super duper mega over black eyeliner! That's just the make up, let's go to her hair, I'm not sure if it's called peak-a-boo hairstyle, the bottom half of the hair is usually darker then the upper half is lighter, well whatevs, that's her hair and it's big like hairspray big!

OMG! I found this on google! and that's how big her hair is! She styles it like the way Paris Hilton does, the side ponytail with a big headband. The girl in the picture is just like the girl I see on the bus every Sunday, the hair, and only just imagine this girl with hot pink blush on and super pale lipstick. Plus her cleavage =)) omgosh! I'm not being mean but I hate how people overdress and thinks their fashion is cute.. I'm no fashionista but at least I know how to dress appropriately.

Ok there's that. Another "interesting" thing on a public transpo is when you understand conversations only wishing after the fact that you didn't hear or understood everything.

The story: I hopped on the bus, I saw an empty spot in front of the Pinoy couple ( I think they're maybe in their mid 30's) so I took it. They obviously saw me, coz people look at other people who hops in anyways. When I'm on the bus, I usually text people or just staring blankly outside the window. I dunno what happened but out of nowhere I snapped back in "reality" and pssh I snapped back in the wrong time. The conversation between the kuya and the ate?

Kuya: meron ka pa ba?
Ate: wala na kahapon pa
Kuya: ayos!
Ate: *laughing flirtatiously*
Kuya: mimaya ha?sabik na ako e.

I don't really care if they're horny, but at least you know, conversations like that?in public? I know I am prolly 65% of the time is mistakenly taken not as a Filipino but they should've at least considered people around them that maybe someone will understand their horny conversation. Doesn't mean you speak tagalog in public, people around you will automatically not understand what the heck you're talking about.

HATE - I hate it when some are just inconsiderate! There are people (yeah both guys and girls) who don't give their seats to the elderly. Come on! I know we get tired also and just wanted to sit down even if it's only a short ride, but these older people have weaker bones and they can't balance themselves well. And humans who let their frigging backpacks sit! I won't complain if they paid $2.75 for that spot, but no! they didn't and instead of giving that seat to someone, they let their dirty backpacks sit on it or let their leg rest on it.

Ok, before the story, I think it's cute how I was originally planning on painting bear paws on each of my fingernails for Mara then at the same time, Mara was thinking of doing stripes because she knows I'm in love with zebra prints! Check out Mara's blog and you'll see how pro her nail art is. I'm just envious with her talent!

RED MY LIPS

Hi everyone! haha I'm back! lol! Wells, as most of you know I've been sick the past few days plus I had to work 5 days straight but I ain't complaining, I got the weekend off again. woot woot partey!!

The story of my Saturday..

I set the alarm off for 7, eat breakfast, take a quick shower and catch the bus at 9:30 (to go to the dojo) chiyeaah me waking up at 7 didn't happen! I have no problems waking up early, I'm the type of person that once woken up, it's hard for me to go back to lalaland. I think I'm still recovering and my body is just too tired that I had to sleep in. Yeah I missed the dojo today, sweating is the only I-am-supposed-to-do-this-today that didn't jell out but the rest of my Saturday plans did occur.

While having breakfast, I went on messenger and chat with Mara for a bit, gaah! It's been so long since we last had a chat conversation and I did really missed it. You know, we just talked about randomness, ok wait I lied haha it's mostly stuff not for blogging oh ok maybe just some of it.. You'll know the "some of it" eventually -- SOON! :D We didn't chat for long tho coz I had to take a bath and head to the Asian store which is inside the humongous mall and for some odd reasons, I've been craving for a RED lipstick, not to eat it silly, to sport it and thus the title.

Before doing my grocery shopping, I went sunglasses hopping first, since in my head I wanted a RED lipstick, a badass pair of sunglasses will give my RED lipstick THE attitude! No luck! I didn't find one that I really like so I just went to London Drugs instead and do my drugstore haul. The back of my hand were a mess from the swatches, comparing all the reds side by side. After blah blah minutes, I decided to buy the Rich Ruby shade from Prestige.

This is the first ever lipstick I bought! haha Well, I have lipglosses but not a real lipstick, and yes, my first lipstick purchase is RED and it is FIERCE!! grrr!

It is flipping humid today but that didn't stop me from camwhoring =)) and omgosh I was sweating like a man! haha and to give emphasis on the fierceness of my RED lipstick, here's some pics.

Yeah, I kinda wish I know what eyeshadow/s will go okay with a RED lipstick. SOS?

RED lipstick, check! Another cravings I've been drooling on are nail polishes! Mara got me into it (bad her I know haha jk! I love Mara :D) After I got the RED lipstick, I just had to walk a few baby steps towards the nail section. I found really good colours but I wanna stick to my zebra prints so I only got a top coat, a white nail polish and a black nail art pen.

For the nail polishes, I didn't go for the expensive ones (the NYC are on for $1.29 ea) just to give it a try if I'm gonna be a nail art person or still be the person who keeps it clean, short and bare. I was also considering my choice of sport which is kickboxing and I don't wanna have the "oh, I don't wanna ruin my fingernails/toenails" excuse whenever I have to punch/kick a bag. I will TRY my zebra prints tomorrow (again) after the fail attempt this afternoon.

Nail polishes and nail art pen, check! So the other day, I went to Shoppers just to see what they have on sale for the week, and was ecstatic when I saw the sale display, they have the Harajuku on special!! The 40ml is on for $19.95 (was $42 something).

My lil summer harajuku now has a mommy! haha

That's about it peeps! haha I never thought, I'd finish this entry. It's 12:26a.m now and people still texting me and calling me =)) well the bf called me and so did my sister =)) I'm so loved :D

haha Idk, I'm tired and can't think of any title for this post and since Bones is on right now, might just as well use it.

I got paid and didn't have to work today yay! so paid my frikkin bills first then I was just planning on staying home and just try to rest all day coz I'll be off again to work starting tomorrow until Monday evening when I realized that I needed to buy some work pants. I called my tita if she wanted us to meet at the mall, I want to spend my free days with my tita and her twins before I go on my vacation in three weeks. Yes! I am excited! I am excited to see my mom and dad and bully my sister (haha jk! I love bugging her), watch TFC and eat home cooked meals, gaah, I miss eating real food, not the ones from the frozen aisle or my own cooking.

Ha!


So I got my pants and more, also bought my dad a present for father's day and the rest will be a photo story.

I got my work pants and I also bought a slouchy, low slung fit with a cute rolled cuff sweatpants (yep, for my cardio kickboxing). I didn't take pictures of both my work pants and sweatpants, I mean, what's so exciting and pretty about those?!

Here, let the pictures tell the story for the rest of my day.

1. HARAJUKU LOVERS FRAGRANCE - It was on sale for $19.something at London Drugs, the scent is "love", you can smell this fragrance at your retailers that carry harajuku lines and you'll have an idea how I smell like ;). If you're the not too strong not too sweet scent kinda lady, you'll prolly end up buying a bottle too ;)

2. GOTTA B' URBAN - I got this for $9 I think?I just lost the package so I can't remember how much this bronzer brush exactly is, it's no more than $10 for sure. Let's see if "cheaper" is sometimes better, work for this one :D visit gottaburban for more details.

3. BIORé - Microderm Exfoliator for $8.99. This is one of the products that was recommended for me to use at the derma. I am really scared of trying new products out coz I might break out and having them extracted is really painful, but after her pointing out that the ingredients are pretty much the same, I got convinced. Yeah, I just saved $90 coz I am trying out bioré, hopefully, I don't break out or else..

4. YVES ROCHER - It was just a free magazine from Yves Rocher, they just opened 3 days ago so I went and checked them out.

5. LUMINELLE - nail polish for $3, you can check for the reference here.

6. WATERCOLOR EFFECT BLUSH - for $6, reference here. Wow! I think I will be liking Yves Rocher because of their affordable prices, so I hope this is not disappointing.

7. AQUARELLES VéGéTALES - they have this promo that if you buy any 2 aquarelles végétales, you'll get this make up bag for free. Yes, paid for numbers 5 and 6 and got this baby for free. Free stuff is always good :D the lady also gave me a sample perfume but I forgot to include that in the picture.

Then I found this cute pink purse at FCUK -- on sale! It was originally on for $60 but I only paid $30. I just kinda didn't like the chain strap but it might work so we'll see, I still have 14 days to decide anyways if I wanna keep it or return it.

That's about it.. Oh, I have a question for everyone what is the tagalog for weekend? :D And siopao? My bestfriend texted me this morning and asked for siopao's tagalog, I texted her back and said pusa.

And I felt dumb today coz my sister said tanga to me coz I confused myself with umalingasaw and umalingawngaw. The conversation went like this:

Em: "tumae siya kaganina xempre sa diaper pero ang baho talaga umalingawngaw".
B: "tanga! UMALINGASAW! ano yun siren lang?umalingawngaw?"

RUDEEEEEEE!!
