I decided I'll put all my summer vacation in different parts.
Reasons:
1. I don't want my single entry to be loaded with ten thousand pictures. Personally, when reading a blog, I don't really appreciate an entry with frigging thousands of pictures in it. Even with high speed internet, some of the pics will still take forever to load.
2. I want it more organized. All the randomness in one part and the places in other parts.
So let's just start from the beginning.
My parents and sister drove from Manitoba to Alberta (12-14 hours I think or maybe even 16 hours max with the stops). The original plan was them to be here by Saturday afternoon but because of some happenings the past week, we had to adjust and try to fit our time offs in 5 days, so they were here Friday evening. You know what? 5 days is effing short but it was all worth it, I spent it with my family so I ain't complaining.
Ok. I COOKED!!!! haha and I'll provide pictures ;)

and obviously, I did the chopping myself even the garlic and onion.

MY TINOLA WAS A SUCCESS! I honestly thought that cooking real food was complicated =)) my tinola proved me wrong. pwuahaha It's really effing simple! haha I had to cook another food coz my sister is a vegetarian and no pictures for that coz I forgot haha I got excited more with the chicken ;). That was it for dinner last Friday. The next day, I cooked for my family again.

After breakfast, washing of the dishes and baths, we then headed to Banff which is 6 hours away from here. Where is here?ahmm somewhere here =))
The pictures from our Banff and Calgary trip will be blogged tomorrow. Maybe. If I get the time. I'm really busy this week and I am expecting some friends over tomorrow night, so major major cleaning. ;)
And before I end this first part of my summer vacay, I want for everyone to know that I moved on. I moved on from Nokia to BlackBerry. I've been a Nokia user since I was 14 so I know Nokia phones inside out haha and since they don't really make Nokia phones available here, I decided to just switch to BB. I was planning on getting the new BB torch but it's not yet available in Canada, not until fall or maybe in December (for Rogers), hence, BB bold it is.
I am getting used to BB now haha

We went to the bottle depot the other day for our bottles and guess how much our 5 black garbage bags of recyclable bottles cost?
A short entry today =) I'm not really in the mood to type a lot. pssh
I went to London Drugs and obviously bought all these stuff.
OLAY LOTION - They were on sale for $10.99 (was $13.99). OLAY is my and my sister's favourite lotion evuur! My sister has dry skin, like dry dry flaky skin and she had tried all kinds of lotions out there even the expensive ones but none of them really hydrated her skin. Since she discovered OLAY, she's been loyal =)). The one thing I don't like about OLAY is they make us vampires, yeah shinning shimmering splendid vampires! lulz! We sparkle under the sun that you'll think we bathe in glitters =))
QTIPS - I dunno what to say about this one =)) We all need the clean our ears and I run out of QTIPS so I bought one. pwuahaha
POND'S TOWELETTE - It actually came free with the QTIPS ;) I'm not really a fan of makeup removing towelettes but the good thing about this is they are pre-moistened cloths and they're clearly not liquid so you don't have to worry about spills. And if you're going to travel and will only be away for couple nights, a small pack like this is handy and doesn't really have a weight so it can just go in your purse.
L'OREAL PARIS - L'OREAL PARIS magic perfecting base.I'm not really big on drugstore primers, but I want to give this a try. I've read reviews from MakeupAlley and this product is rated average. What made me buy this?Some of the rants I've read are either: 1. expensive for a drugstore product or 2. not oily face friendly. Most of the reviews tho claimed that it made their pores less visible and that's what I wanted to achieve therefore, I bought it. If you wanna know the consistency of this product? It's really thick.
CLEAN & CLEAR MAKEUP REMOVER - I prefer foaming cleanser than the pre-moistened cloths because foaming cleanser are obviously less garbage waste than towelettes and I also find towelettes harsh on the face. The hassle part of it is when I travel, I have to wrap the upper part with a clear tape so if it ended up leaking, the tape will kinda control the damage.
CLEAN & CLEAR DAILY PORE TONER - Why do I love shopping at London Drugs all in all? THEIR SALE! And maybe once or twice a month they have this buy one clean & clear product and you'll get another clean & clear product for free. Yes. I bought the make up remover and got the toner for free. Sweet deal, I've been using clean & clear for ages and promotions like that just work for me.
BODY PUFF - Those are my 3 favourite colours!! wooshaa!! I just need new body puffs. That's all ;)

oh gosh! I am undeniably trying not to shed a tear while trying to compose this entry and my throat is hurting and my eyes are burning from holding it all back. arrgh!!!
I can't help but worry right now and I am thankful, THANKFUL for all of my friends who has been sending all their support, all their love and their prayers for my family. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! Every single thing my friends had said thru text, messenger, fb and in person, on the phone, they all meant a lot! Thank you for making us feel that we are not alone in this journey and God will be always here for us and He will listen to all of our prayers.

Another thing, I'm not a fan of facebook applications. The games, or the horoscope thing or the random quotes whatever, yesterday tho, I don't know maybe out of desperation to keep myself calmed or it is simply God's way of sending His message to me, I tried that application and this what came out.

I'd like to believe that my fb application "download" is not coincidental, it's not because I was tempted to try it, it is and I know is God's one of miraculous ways of letting me know that there's nothing to worry about. Mara is right, IT IS A SIGN THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT.

I have a new layout!!! haha as most of you probably noticed it already. I originally created my own on Artisteer but it's too much work so I google-d for free templates and tadah! new layout it is! It's still a bit messed up but I'm lazy to fix everything at this moment. You are possibly wondering about the little kid on the header? I think it's me (lulz) and I refuse to grow up =) Srsly, that animated kid reminded me of who I was back when my mammary glands were still flat as a road, the DORA bangs! Did you girls also had Dora hair back then? Anyway, most people in forums know that I adore Michelle Phan, I love her and I like her make up vids. I didn't started following her or known of Michelle's existence until late '08/early '09. Yeah. I live under a rock that I didn't know that there are make up tutorials on youtube as I only go on yt mainly to watch cover songs and learn how to play the guitar. I became an instant follower of Michelle. Michelle's videos shows this down to earth individual who was once dreaming and now starting to live it, she seems bubbly and friendly too and her videos are calming with soothing musics and her lullaby like voice over. What made me admire her more was when I googled her and found out they used to be poor. Why? She has big dreams and being poor didn't stop her from being an inspiration to all.
I remember having this conversation with one of the women from a forum(I chose women than referring to her as a girl coz most of the people in this forum are professionals and so is this woman) coz we were talking about gurus on youtube and I am not quite sure how it started but I mentioned Michelle was down and out growing up and this poster quoted me saying Michelle was never poor coz MP's mom is a dermatologist and her mom's profession is considered as one of those who makes more moolah. Initially as a fan, I defended Michelle saying someone told me of the fact and I've seen her profile myself so in the end we just concluded that maybe they were poor (but not bankrupt) after the divorce coz divorce are both physically and financially straining for everyone who's going through it.
Something just poofed happened about a week ago, I was on facebook and one of my friends who happened to be a Michelle Phan's fan sent me a link about this gossip guru forum and there's a thread there that you can freely trash a guru and the link she sent was the thread linking to Michelle Phan. The first page my friend sent me was 40 pages long!! craaap!! I spent half of my day reading the thread (lulz, what you'll call life eh? haha) The thread isn't just about rumors ya know, they have proof! they have evidences of Michelle lying to everyone's faces.
My blog post is really getting long isn't it? pwuahaha
I am not gonna bash Michelle here for being short and a girl with thunder thighs (as what the forumers describe her as lol!). I am short and I have thunder thighs as well, at least I don't get paid by lying, I am a student and I have a part time job. :D
And this is the part where I'll start expressing my disappointment point per point. Again, it's because of Michelle's non stop lying, I am not gonna diss her because of her thunder thighs.
ANIMALS I remember seeing Mr. BunBun (her rabbit to those of you who don't know) in some of her vids and thru stalking the forum, I found out that Mr. BunBun died already. The big deal? Michelle lied about it, she said Mr. BunBun is recovering (I think Mr. BunBun had kidney infections?sorry I don't remember exactly) and is doing well. Why did she lie about it?It's because the very next day, Michelle is going to Disneyland and she prolly doesn't want people questioning her way of "mourning". MP's pet died the night before and everyone is well aware of the genuineness love Michelle has for her animals so if your beloved pet died you mourn, you don't go to Disneyland, have fun and shoot for a theme park make up tutorial the very next day when you're supposed to be sad. Everyone is also wondering what happened to her other pets as well.
I think Michelle should really write her lies down so when someone ask her about certain things her answers would all be the same.
ABOUT HER BEING POOR Now, I think she lied about her social status so she can get sympathy and more people will like her. About her growing up poor was one of the reasons why I loved her. I've said it earlier that her being poor didn't stop her from living her dreams when some poor people just stop wishing and dreaming. When she said they used to live on food stamps, I've seen evidences (print screened) of Michelle and her brother's brand new cars, Michelle's expensive La Mer cream ($130 1oz, $230 2oz and $1,390 for 16.5oz). If you're poor and living on food stamps how can your family afford to buy you and your brother brand new cars to drive?and your expensive face and eye cream?and your branded shoes, clothes and purses?If Michelle was helping her mom pay their bills and helping her brother too why did she moved out and moved in, into this nice cozy apartment?
From Michelle's xanga, she blogged how she loathe materialistic rich people, so that means she hates herself coz she's also equally materialistic?
RELIGION She said she's a christian but her ways aren't christian like. This what irks me as well or probably the most! When someone like Michelle rub into people's faces that they are religious and yet contradicting themselves by constantly lying?not giving credits to where it's due?plagiarizing in short. I am not sure if Christians just like us Catholics have 10 commandments?But whatever the case is, It's still wrong to put the name of the Lord God in vain Michelle.

I am just so disappointed with Michelle Phan and her lies and more lies to cover up her previous BS.
MISLEADING Michelle always misleads people with her tweets and her replies and if she gets called out on, she'll be so defensive and try to conceal that lie with another lie. And I'm telling you just like most especially her recent vids, Michelle is not good in concealing her dark circles and so are her lies. I am not perfect with grammar but I surely know what MY/MINE means. Michelle doesn't give credits and when she used MY in describing the bookshelf picture she uploaded on twitter, people assumed it's hers. by MY or MINE means you own it. Then there goes Michelle again with her usual BS cover up.
As of this day, I am considering myself as an ex-fan of Michelle, and she'll gain my trust and respect again once she comes clean about all her issues, and not to tell more lies to cover her being untruthful.
Michelle, you better stop lying now girl while you're still up there or consequences will never be the same. And yes this is prolly be what it's gonna be like once Michelle is cornered and can't get herself out of her lies.
