I never had the chance to ask everyone this question, but yeah, who dressed up on Halloween?
I did not this year. :( I was originally planning on being Tinkerbell again ( I was Tinkerbell 2 years ago), I dunno why all of the other girly girly characters out there, I am in love with Tinkerbell. hmm, maybe because deep inside me I wish for some magical powers and that I could fly. *sigh* I can only wish.
sooo why didn't I dress up for Halloween this year? My Tinkerbell costume was at my parents' house and I forgot, like totally forgot to bring it with me when I was over there for the summer and buying a new outfit is not really practical especially now that since school started, my hours was cut back drastically so I NEED TO BUDGET!
And finally, the point of this entry? I recreated a fairy look inspired by Petrilude's Mother Earth tutorial video.

That look, especially the gold flakes and the green leaves became my inspiration to do a Tinkerbell look. I don't have gold flakes so I used a yellow eyeshadow from The Body Shop instead.
Tinkerbell is all about gold, green and glittery so this is the look I came up with, with the minimal makeup that I own.
oh yeah, I'm not a pro, I don't do full makeup everyday except for foundation, concealer, lip balm and bronzer. I just wanted to do the look, so here it goes.
Then I realized that my lips were too "dramatic"/ too dark so I decided to
"tone" it down a bit.

hmm, I used a yellow eyeshadow, a green eyeshadow, a black eyeliner, black mascara, and a brown/maroon-ish lipstick for this look.

Anyway, most people in forums know that I adore Michelle Phan, I love her and I like her make up vids. I didn't started following her or known of Michelle's existence until late '08/early '09. Yeah. I live under a rock that I didn't know that there are make up tutorials on youtube as I only go on yt mainly to watch cover songs and learn how to play the guitar. I became an instant follower of Michelle. Michelle's videos shows this down to earth individual who was once dreaming and now starting to live it, she seems bubbly and friendly too and her videos are calming with soothing musics and her lullaby like voice over. What made me admire her more was when I googled her and found out they used to be poor. Why? She has big dreams and being poor didn't stop her from being an inspiration to all.
I remember having this conversation with one of the women from a forum(I chose women than referring to her as a girl coz most of the people in this forum are professionals and so is this woman) coz we were talking about gurus on youtube and I am not quite sure how it started but I mentioned Michelle was down and out growing up and this poster quoted me saying Michelle was never poor coz MP's mom is a dermatologist and her mom's profession is considered as one of those who makes more moolah. Initially as a fan, I defended Michelle saying someone told me of the fact and I've seen her profile myself so in the end we just concluded that maybe they were poor (but not bankrupt) after the divorce coz divorce are both physically and financially straining for everyone who's going through it.
Something just poofed happened about a week ago, I was on facebook and one of my friends who happened to be a Michelle Phan's fan sent me a link about this gossip guru forum and there's a thread there that you can freely trash a guru and the link she sent was the thread linking to Michelle Phan. The first page my friend sent me was 40 pages long!! craaap!! I spent half of my day reading the thread (lulz, what you'll call life eh? haha) The thread isn't just about rumors ya know, they have proof! they have evidences of Michelle lying to everyone's faces.
My blog post is really getting long isn't it? pwuahaha
I am not gonna bash Michelle here for being short and a girl with thunder thighs (as what the forumers describe her as lol!). I am short and I have thunder thighs as well, at least I don't get paid by lying, I am a student and I have a part time job. :D
And this is the part where I'll start expressing my disappointment point per point. Again, it's because of Michelle's non stop lying, I am not gonna diss her because of her thunder thighs.
ANIMALS I remember seeing Mr. BunBun (her rabbit to those of you who don't know) in some of her vids and thru stalking the forum, I found out that Mr. BunBun died already. The big deal? Michelle lied about it, she said Mr. BunBun is recovering (I think Mr. BunBun had kidney infections?sorry I don't remember exactly) and is doing well. Why did she lie about it?It's because the very next day, Michelle is going to Disneyland and she prolly doesn't want people questioning her way of "mourning". MP's pet died the night before and everyone is well aware of the genuineness love Michelle has for her animals so if your beloved pet died you mourn, you don't go to Disneyland, have fun and shoot for a theme park make up tutorial the very next day when you're supposed to be sad. Everyone is also wondering what happened to her other pets as well.
I think Michelle should really write her lies down so when someone ask her about certain things her answers would all be the same.
ABOUT HER BEING POOR Now, I think she lied about her social status so she can get sympathy and more people will like her. About her growing up poor was one of the reasons why I loved her. I've said it earlier that her being poor didn't stop her from living her dreams when some poor people just stop wishing and dreaming. When she said they used to live on food stamps, I've seen evidences (print screened) of Michelle and her brother's brand new cars, Michelle's expensive La Mer cream ($130 1oz, $230 2oz and $1,390 for 16.5oz). If you're poor and living on food stamps how can your family afford to buy you and your brother brand new cars to drive?and your expensive face and eye cream?and your branded shoes, clothes and purses?If Michelle was helping her mom pay their bills and helping her brother too why did she moved out and moved in, into this nice cozy apartment?
From Michelle's xanga, she blogged how she loathe materialistic rich people, so that means she hates herself coz she's also equally materialistic?
RELIGION She said she's a christian but her ways aren't christian like. This what irks me as well or probably the most! When someone like Michelle rub into people's faces that they are religious and yet contradicting themselves by constantly lying?not giving credits to where it's due?plagiarizing in short. I am not sure if Christians just like us Catholics have 10 commandments?But whatever the case is, It's still wrong to put the name of the Lord God in vain Michelle.

I am just so disappointed with Michelle Phan and her lies and more lies to cover up her previous BS.
MISLEADING Michelle always misleads people with her tweets and her replies and if she gets called out on, she'll be so defensive and try to conceal that lie with another lie. And I'm telling you just like most especially her recent vids, Michelle is not good in concealing her dark circles and so are her lies. I am not perfect with grammar but I surely know what MY/MINE means. Michelle doesn't give credits and when she used MY in describing the bookshelf picture she uploaded on twitter, people assumed it's hers. by MY or MINE means you own it. Then there goes Michelle again with her usual BS cover up.
As of this day, I am considering myself as an ex-fan of Michelle, and she'll gain my trust and respect again once she comes clean about all her issues, and not to tell more lies to cover her being untruthful.
Michelle, you better stop lying now girl while you're still up there or consequences will never be the same. And yes this is prolly be what it's gonna be like once Michelle is cornered and can't get herself out of her lies.

So what else is new? I've been sick since Saturday. I've been coughing my lungs out and I've got runny nose, what a way to welcome the month of August! ahm and after over a year of pure laziness and non stop pigging out, I enrolled myself back to kickboxing again!! woot! It's been 2 weeks, yep! Every single effing time I come in, the training/workout are getting more intense! I shouldn't be complaining you know, but I'm always sore after, my legs are wobbly and my arms are so aching that for a couple of days I am struggling with my bra, I can't hook it on.
Is there a worse part from it so far?
I think the worse part of the training workout so far are the dumbbells. I was being a princess so I took the 3 lb ones. We used that to get the rhythm, not for hardcore combination coz I don't think you're supposed to, but after a while you'll get sore and after some time the 3lbs will feel like they weigh 10 lbs each and your arms felt like they're gonna fall off.
Second are the push ups! who invented the push ups? seriously! I hate doing push ups coz I don't know how, I never knew how! If you'll see from behind I look like a struggling frog trying to get up from a fall or something, I sometimes forget that you should be bending your elbows as you go down, so I look really stupid while doing push ups =)) hey, at least I have some coordination going on, I can do jumping jacks unlike these guys.

I am so defensive about me not being able to do push ups =)) haha
Another not my favourite part, jump ropes. It's just awkward to see your self in the mirror (yes, we workout in front of a wall sized mirror) and your boobs also jumping up and down. =))
Best Part? The exercise ball! Mara and I were chatting one day and we talked about the exercise ball, we have two (a red and a purple I believe) at my parents' house but I never saw anyone in my family used it, I never used it so I had no idea at all whatsoever. Mara told me she had fun bouncing on it so my idea of the ball was for bouncing and for the abs like you lay down, your upper body resting on the ball while you're on a squat position and you do your sit ups. Last Saturday was my first time on the ball and there are sooooo many ways on how to use it and the whole time I was thinking of Mara and how she'll prolly enjoy the ball workout. I did. Meagan told me I did a fantastic job considering so I was really happy about it. muunn! I maybe fat but I have monstrous flexibility but I suck at timing and I have a terrible sense of balance. =))
Over a year ago, I only got to the point of my training where I only got to use the kick & punch target, which is about a size of a pillow and someone will hold that up against their body and you kick it and the short focus mitt. And now to my delight, I get to do this baby

The first day on the dojo, on the mat, I was really rusty, because I've gained the weight I lost from back when I was into kickboxing and for over a year I've got no exercise at all except for walking. I am happy with my performance especially the sit ups, with my bulging tummy on my way I can't even imagine I can get myself up. Sensei Rem had us do sit ups that day too, 3 rounds 30 secs each with 10 secs intervals. I did the first round non stop then came the second round I was really slowing down and the third round pssh I'm like dead already! haha I was also surprised with my kicks esp my left foot. My right foot is a baby, it's so weak, ok get a pillow and hold it up against your body and have a one year old kick it, that's how flimsy my right foot is, and my left foot? pssh! Angela my sparring partner that day who's been in the program for over a year now is at most times losing her balance when my left foot is kicking, no exaggeration but yeah she's struggling to keep her balance, my left foot still got the kicks! bwuahaha As for my boxing?hmm I've lost my rhythm.
Question: I just find it bizarre that I am right handed but my left foot and my left hand are both stronger than my right foot and my right hand. Is that "normal?", from day one, I expected my rights to be the dominant ones but it turned out to be the weaklings.
Gaah that's it. I got carried away again, got to go now.

I really don't like dramas but out of curiosity and what was the hoopla all about (as it might help me in the long run), I clicked the blogtv link and waited for what Nikkie has to say. The room was packed! There's about 800 people tuned in at that very minute. If you've seen the video up there then you have at least the idea on why the world suddenly went crazy.
Nikkie20six, Dana Lajeunesse etc are not part owners of Bitch Slap! cosmetics. They are make up gurus on youtube who happened to promote the said line before because they thought at first it was a straight up honest product and the owner was being equally honest to them until the lying, the backstabbing, and the stealing was uncovered.
Whatever personal angst between the people involved?naah I don't care, what irked me was the fact that Kathy (the owner of Bitch Slap! cosmetics) went low just to make money for herself. Again, it's not the personal things going on with all of them, it's how unsafe Kathy's products are and how she lied when she was confronted about it and tried to blame other people for it.
I am a consumer, I sometimes buy products based on how many good reviews that product gets. I also try and research about how safe the product is, what the ingredients are and as a consumer, I expect the OPENNESS from first, the manufacturer and second, from the people who does the reviews.

Forget about my hard earned moolah's worth, FAIRNESS coz we all deserve the TRUTH about the product we eat or we use for our face and skin making sure it is SAFE!! Coz I don't think anyone here would wanna buy something that will put their lives in danger.

haha I just wanted to talk about HAIR actually. My hair has only been either long (about touching my bra line, yes that's the longest it's been since I don't know) with side swept bangs or short (about touching my clavicle) with side swept bangs. I know. Bangs. I am not ready to let go of my bangs yet, I'm conscious about my whole face, my forehead particularly coz it's HUUUGEE! I'm bored with my bangs to be honest, I'm bored with (since I have natural curly hair) either long or short or leave it curly or straighten it. I dunno what to do with my hair! lol!

There's so much to do with your hair long BUT not unless you're Tyra Banks, keeping it straight everyday is BOOring.. YOU need to make big curls before it screams ATTITUDE! (idk, maybe its the pictorials that's why I wanted something fierce for myself).
SHORT HAIR:
Maja is my lezbo crush :D While I was on vacay, I happened to see her on her soap and Maja's hair suits her (tongue twisted?;p) like omgosh! She's so pretty and that instant, I wanted to go to Dimples and have them chop my hair off. Good thing I remembered I have curly hair (or pancit canton hair as my sister would call it) and having the same as length as Maja will make me look ridic! on days that I don't have the extra time to straighten it.
Long hair - requires more time, extra time to blow dry it and iron it straight. Hassle most esp on school days that I have to spend an extra hour just for my hair! Now that it's medium length, it will only take me half an hour to do everything with my hair.
Short hair - more feminine. The short cut itself is already a statement. Since it'll be shorter, I won't need the extra hour for my hair vanity that means even on a rushed morning, I'll prolly have the time to still iron it straight!
blah whatever.. you don't have to worry about my dilemma.

Nah. It doesn't matter what kind of blogger are you, a beauty blogger, a random blogger, a food blogger etc etc -- YOU'RE A BLOGGER, WE'RE BLOGGERS! What's your reason for blogging? What good did blogging brought you? Well, it's up to you if you really wanna answer that but right now I wanna get to the purpose on why this entry..
Before blogger, I do what other people normally do on a daily basis. I watch TV, I go to work, I go to school, I spend time with my friends, with my sister, with the boyfriend, I use the fone, I go online but mainly for forums, youtube, messenger and facebook of course and that's about it. For the longest time, I've been wanting to blog but I dunno what kind of blogger I'm gonna be. I believe I have a say on some things, there are times that I am not afraid of being heard/read and it doesn't really bug me if people are up or against me since that's how life rolls anyhoo -- random blogger it is.
Blogging made life more interesting on my part and "busy" and it kinda feels like I need to have my camera with me all the time just in case I spotted an interesting subject, I can just point and shoot. It is just so amazing how really random people could be at times, taking pictures of their shoes, a stone, their food and whatever other unplanned or planned things they have for the day. Admittedly, I enjoy these accidental-I-just-happened-to-be-there life situations.
Thank you technology for cellphones with built in cameras! Your camera may not come in handy, but your fone surely is. It's gorgeous isn't it? It's like a dolphin and it made me think how clouds can form in to something most of times and it was prolly taught on 3rd grade science and I am just not remembering it right now. :D If you know why, let me know ;).

Looking at this picture makes me so hungry right now. arggh! Tsk. See how random we are?or random am I? The picture was taken a week ago and it's really pointless to make an entry about my nacho salad, now I have the chance to squeeze this in and it's making a statement, it's all part of the unexpectedly life outside, what we do, what we eat.

And it's absolutely true, I am not just speaking for myself here but for most of us. Cameras are not only for camwhoring these days but for effing everything around us.
You know the other thing that I like about reading blogs? is I actually look forward to their haul posts, whether it's make up haul, nail polishes haul, chocolate haul (tho I've never really had a chocolate haul encounter before LOL!) It's fascinating. And it's not even about bragging what you saw or what you bought, I think it's really interesting to know what other people is like, what makes them happy and it's their money their spending so why the hell some people get mad about it?! Like they think they're being a show off, I enjoy it and it's also fun to know sometimes who you share the same fashion sense with and you get ideas from them too, mix and matching, and where the sales are which I think is really helpful to know.
I enjoy being a blogger, I don't get paid by blogging but the comments and the friendship built -- PRICELESS!

CHAPTER ONE: I AM A FILIPINO

Isn't it adorable to hear non-filipinos speak our language?When other cultures are trying their best to learn something about Filipinos?I think it's really great, it's flattering for us Filipinos when someone's actually stepping up and wanna learn some basics. And I feel very lucky to have non-Filipino friends who accepted the whole Em package + my culture. So thank you to all of them (: Yes, they eat adobo and other pinoy foods, they know some basic tagalog words and they know how to swear in tagalog too. (The cussing? they didn't learn that from me :D)
If you're not a Filipino and you know some tagalog words, you're A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! ;) I will not talk about my non-tag friends here but some people who surprised me with their tagalog humor and speaking. This happened about a month ago already, there's a guy at work who asked me if I'm a filipino and I said YES! I am.

CHAPTER THREE: I WANT A TAN!!!
Yes! I want a summer tan coz I am not tan enough :D Unfortunately I didn't get my tan yesterday, instead of glowing tan, I got sunburned lol! I wasn't really planning on going sun tanning, it just kinda happened. One of my girl-friends asked me out for a coffee date, so we met up at 10 at Second Cup. My friend Sera had a Perrier and I had strawberry chillers for myself. It was the perfect day yesterday, not too hot and not to breezy so we decided to enjoy our drinks out in the patio. We had to move to a different spot tho half an hour later coz it was becoming chilly and yeah we moved to that table were the sunshine was directly hitting. SUNSHINE!! haha I don't mind sweating or be under the sun on days when I don't have to work, I mean who wants to anyways?! uhh, I don't spend 3 hours to take a bath and look good only to sweat and look haggard even before my day starts. Yes! I am girly like that. :D So here's a picture of my failed tan lol! It's kinda humiliating that my arm looked bigger in the picture than in real life lol! it's from the cropping and resizing maybe?or am I just making an excuse?! And it's just humiliation period coz I got sunburned haha.
As you can see I have a tan line lol! The upper part tanned a bit but from where my mole is, down half my arm, it's REDDDDD! Like I am not even kidding. I tried to keep my sleeves rolled up, but obviously, my sleeves didn't stay up where it's supposed to be. Oh yes just so you guys know and to add more humiliation on my part, my left arm is "untouched", not tan, not red, just my normal skin color, so I look "unequal".
I'm just gonna stop here, 3 chapters lol! Other "interesting" happenings will be on my next blog coz they/it, whatever don't deserve to be blogged in chapters, they/it whatever need to be blogged alone. Ok, so what did I just typed?! I am just hoping you understood it lol!

So instead of reading my learner's ed handbook (yep! I am learning how to drive haha yay for me!) I just decided to close my book and excitedly wait for Oprah to go on air and see, no, not Justin Bieber but LEGACI. The beginning of the show was understandable to be all about the Bieber fever and his crying fans, so I patiently waited for Beiber to perform so I can see Legaci on the Oprah stage being JB's back up singers. dennggg munnn! just B-U-L-L-C-R-A-P!! they didn't even gave Legaci a decent shot but that nano of a second! jeez! I was really disappointed and they didn't even gave credits to Legaci, they may not be as big as JBieber but they should've at the very least right?Since the show today was all about youtube stars who made it big and the hopefuls. Oh wells, at least for the other half hour of the show, they featured Charice and her album and together with Iyaz and David Foster, they performed their now climbing up the chart dance single, "Pyramid".
Do you guys have an idol? I'm sure we all have one right?they maybe a singer, a dancer, a tv host, a superhero, an author or a guru -- we all have someone in our life that we idolize.
Personally, I only have a few that I adore, not that I am not easily to please with, but because I know and I feel talent when I see one, the ones that when you see them perform or read a book they wrote, you'll feel nothing but amazed, too amazed that even words can't explain.
Then, boom! fanatics are born! haha and critiques o'course.
Fanatics - people who idolizes someone so much that they'll do everything and anything for their idols. Yes, in the online forum community, they are also known as the fantards. If they read or heard that you said something about their beloved "idol", they'll trash talk you, pull all this drama blah blah-- so annoying.
Critiques - I am not gonna say they are haters, or bashtards because whatever they say, it does make sense, it's just hard to swallow in sometimes because it's the ahm maybe the truth?? They are different from haters, critques don't go around judging people coz of personal reasons, it's because of what they do for a living or their hobby. Just like what we read on papers everyday, they give rants or reviews about a certain restaurant (food quality, cleanliness, etc), movies, music, -- you name it. And we all know that most of the time, the reviews are not all positive.
Hurtful as it may seem, not everyone will "like" you, what you do in your life. If you're a singer not all people will like your hitting the high notes screaming and break our eardrums, you'll have fans, some people will recognize your talent but will not be a follower, same goes with dancers, not everyone will appreciate hip-hop or krumping. Mystery, romance, thriller, not everyone is in the same genre when it comes to book preference. Stephenie Meyer for instance, millions of people adored her work, many went gaga over her books, over fictional characters (read: Edward and Jacob), and yet there are hundreds (yes, including myself) who acknowledges her poorly written book but just doesn't appreciate it (please, spare me the twilight drama. P.s I've seen the movie and read the book -- just blaahh). Guru - beauty guru, fashion guru, I only have two that I do really really love, Michelle Phan and Pixiwoo. They are not 7 year olds who jumped into the booming yt guru bandwagon -- for me, they know what they are doing and that's what I loved about them in the first place (yes, there are a lot of equally good guru's out there, to each of his own right?). When I first seen their videos, it felt like, they are so legit to me, very detailed, they are not the type who'll do everything just for the sake of a review, like jumping from one cream to another etc etc (what a great way to take care of your skin -- NOT!).
So I'm gonna say it again, not all people will like you, people will talk or say something that as not as pleasing as you would like it to be, like you're not "credible" or you're not that of an actress, not that of a looker etc etc -- so let's stop being a baby about it and accept the fact that nobody is perfect and we can't please everyone. We all have reasons why we love and don't love a certain person, let's just leave it that way. If ever we read or hear something negative about us, pssh shrug it off, it's a free world, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, especially in the online world, if you can't take criticism then minimize your internet usage, delete your blog and talk to your pillows all day and night, coz they are the only thing who will "love" you unconditionally. :P
Before I end this looonnng entry, I wanna clarify again the difference between a hater and a critique (just in case you've lost your senses while reading this entry).
A critique is not a hater when she said something on a topic or on a review that is "anti" the person/place being reviewed. It is clearly, writing out her opinions, her opinions doesn't reflect the people in her (online) community, it's up to the readers to give it a try themselves and decide for themselves if they liked it or not. Reviews that critiques usually give, is a one time thing for the sake of expressing her OWN say. Haters on the other hand, are the ones who'll blog, bash, vlog about a certain individual or businesses and attack them personally and convince everyone to hate this person or to not patronize a business -- that's how them haters work.
I'm gonna go "titleless" for this entry coz I couldn't think of any title that would pretty much summarize into one word on what this post is all about. hhhmmm, "titleless" is still a title right?so this entry is not titleless at all?But since I'm looking for a word that would sum up my entry then this post is still considered "titleless?". owkay lol nuf.
I love watching WWE, I actually was and still am dreaming of becoming a diva lol! (after I get rid of all these excess body fats haha). Yeah, I love watching WWE, this is a thing that most people don't know about. I love how entertaining WWE scripts can be sometimes, I love the excitement it brings me whenever I see my favourite wrestlers on screen, either by just an appearance or them having to wrestle their competitors. I also adore the fact that aside from they make me happy, the script can also make me really sad and disappointed whenever my favvie wrestler had to lose their title to a heel. I swear! If they will have a show near my place I am gonna see them live! I will not miss this for the world haha I am not gonna let an opportunity like this pass again.
Of course, I am foreseeing right now on what I'm gonna be when I see my wrestlers live. I will be one of those fangirls screaming on the top of their lungs at the front row (yep, those screams on a BSB concert lol!) and with a banner saying:
JEFF HARDY, WILL YOU MARRY ME?
And yes, obviously, Jeff Hardy made my top list lol! Actually, I have two for the number one spot, him and Shawn Michaels.

I can't find a better quality uploaded video for this 2006 survivor series match so the video above was just the highlights of it. dayuuum! We watched this on PPV with my dad and whenever I scream or clap my hands and stomp my feet during the match he'll shush me up, well sorry dad, can't keep the excitement to a minimum level haha and yes, watching basketball, WWE and UFC are my dad and I's, father and daughter bonding. Since I moved out a year ago to a different province, we don't get to do our bonding more often now, just when I'm home for the summer or the holidays which is sad :(oh wells..
